In a rule published December 19, 2000, the Department of Transportation has revised its drug and alcohol testing procedures regulation. The purposes of these proposed amendments is to make DOT agency drug and alcohol testing regulations consistent with the revised testing procedures regulation, avoid duplication and inconsistency, and make certain other changes to update and clarify the operating administration rules.
