Dear Mr. Gurrola:
On October 22-26, 2007, a representative from the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety
Administration (PHMSA), pursuant to chapter 601 of 49 United States Code, inspected
Wolverine Pipe Line Company’s procedures and records as part of a standard unit inspection
in Portage, MI. As a result of the inspection, Wolverine Pipe Line was issued a Notice of
Amendment on February 2, 2010, which proposed amendment of your procedures.
Wolverine Pipe Line had previously submitted its amended procedures on August 27, 2009.
My staff reviewed the amended procedures and subsequent revisions, and it appears that the
inadequacies outlined in this Notice of Amendment have been corrected.
This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank
you for your cooperation.
