{"operation":"document","citation":"4 CCR 723-4 Rule 4005","title":"Records","source_type":"regulation","agency":"Colorado Public Utilities Commission","status":"current","official":true,"published_on":null,"effective_on":null,"summary":"(a) Except as a specific rule may require, every utility shall maintain, for a period of not less than four years, and shall make them available for inspection at its principal place of business in Colorado during regular business hours, the following: (I) records concerning disputes, which records ","machine_formats":{"json":"https://regulus.evalyn.ai/document/co-ccr-4-723-4-4005.json","markdown":"https://regulus.evalyn.ai/document/co-ccr-4-723-4-4005.md"},"app_url":"https://regulus.evalyn.ai/document/co-ccr-4-723-4-4005","source_url":"https://www.sos.state.co.us/CCR/DisplayRule.do?action=ruleinfo&ruleId=2260&deptID=18&agencyID=96&deptName=Department%20of%20Regulatory%20Agencies&agencyName=Public%20Utilities%20Commission&seriesNum=4%20CCR%20723-4","body":"(a) Except as a specific rule may require, every utility shall maintain, for a period of\nnot less than four years, and shall make them available for inspection at its\nprincipal place of business in Colorado during regular business hours, the\nfollowing:\n(I) records concerning disputes, which records are created pursuant to rule\n4004;\n(II) complete records of tests to determine the heating value of gas, which\nrecords are created pursuant to rule 4202;\n(III) records concerning interruptions and curtailments of service, which\nrecords are created pursuant to rule 4203;\n(IV) transportation request logs, which records are created pursuant to\nparagraph 4206(f);\n(V) notices of rejected transportation requests, which records are created\npursuant to paragraph 4206(c);\n(VI) transportation agreements created pursuant to rule 4206;\n(VII) all distribution pressure records, and all records or charts made with\nrespect to rule 4208, appropriately annotated;\n(VIII) meter calibration records created pursuant to under rule 4303;\n(IX) records concerning meters, which records are created pursuant to rules\n4305 and 4306;\n\n(X) customer billing records, which records are created pursuant to paragraph\n4401(a);\n(XI) customer deposit records, which records are created pursuant to rule\n4403;\n(XII) records and supporting documentation concerning its cost assignment and\nallocation manual and fully-distributed cost study pursuant to paragraphs\n4503(g) and 4504(e), for so long as the manual and study are in effect or\nare the subject of a complaint or a proceeding before the Commission;\n(XIII) the total gas transported under each transportation service in Mcf or\nMMBtu and the associated total revenue;\n(XIV) records concerning gas infrastructure plans, pursuant to rules 4550\nthrough 4555;\n(XV) records concerning clean heat plans, pursuant to rules 4725 through\n4734; and\n(XVI) records concerning demand side management, pursuant to rules 4750\nthrough 4761.\n(b) A utility shall maintain at each of its local offices and at its principal place of\nbusiness all tariffs filed with the Commission and applying to Colorado rate\nareas. Current and complete tariffs shall also be available on a utility’s website in\na section that is easily navigable and clearly marked.\n(c) A utility shall maintain its books of account and records in accordance with the\nprovisions of 18 C.F.R. Part 201, the Uniform System of Accounts. A utility shall\nmaintain its books of accounts and records separately and apart from those of its\naffiliates.\n(d) A utility shall preserve its records in accordance with the provisions of 18 C.F.R.\nPart 225, the Preservation of Records of Public Utilities and Licensees.","truncated":false,"body_characters":2680}
