This record shall be retained for the life of the meter plus 30\nmonths.\n(b) Whenever a meter is tested either on request or upon complaint, the test record\nshall include the information necessary for identifying the meter, the reason for\nmaking the test, the reading of the meter if removed from service, the result of\nthe test, and all data taken at the time of the test in a sufficiently complete form to\npermit the convenient checking of the methods employed and the calculations\nmade.
