On request, a utility\nsupplying metered service shall explain to a customer in a clear non-technical\nstatement its method of reading the customer’s meter.\n(b) A utility shall include in its tariff a clear statement describing when meters will be\nread by the utility and the circumstances, if any, under which the customer must\nread the meter and submit the data to the utility. This statement shall specify in\ndetail the procedure that the customer must follow and shall specify all special\nconditions that apply to each class of service.\n\n(c) Absent good cause, a utility shall read a meter monthly. For good cause shown,\na utility shall read a meter at least once every six months.","truncated":false,"body_characters":907}
