(b) The Commission ","machine_formats":{"json":"https://regulus.evalyn.ai/document/co-ccr-4-723-4-4705.json","markdown":"https://regulus.evalyn.ai/document/co-ccr-4-723-4-4705.md"},"app_url":"https://regulus.evalyn.ai/document/co-ccr-4-723-4-4705","source_url":"https://www.sos.state.co.us/CCR/DisplayRule.do?action=ruleinfo&ruleId=2260&deptID=18&agencyID=96&deptName=Department%20of%20Regulatory%20Agencies&agencyName=Public%20Utilities%20Commission&seriesNum=4%20CCR%20723-4","body":"(a) In order to assist the parties in scheduling the public hearing, determining the\nscheduling of the evidentiary hearing, developing the list of persons to receive\nnotice of these hearings, and addressing other pertinent issues, the Commission\nwill hold a prehearing conference.\n(b) The Commission shall conduct a prehearing conference within 15 days after the\napplication is deemed complete by the Commission.\n(c) The Commission shall join as an indispensable party the local government which\ntook the contested local government action.\n(d) Ten days before the commencement of the prehearing conference, the local\ngovernment shall submit to the parties and the Commission its preference for the\nlocation of the public hearing to be held in accordance with § 29-20-108(5)(b),\nC.R.S., and rule 4704.\n\n(e) The Commission will decide the date and time of the public hearing after\nreceiving comments from the parties at the prehearing conference.\n(f) By the date of the prehearing conference, each party shall provide to the utility a\nlist of individuals and groups to receive notice of the public hearing.\n(g) The utility or power authority shall give notice of the public hearing to the\nidentified individuals and groups in a manner specified by the Commission.\nNotice may be accomplished by newspaper publication, bill insert, first class mail,\nor any other manner deemed appropriate by the Commission.\n(h) If the local government is unable to provide meeting space for the public hearing,\nand space needs to be acquired, then the utility or power authority shall bear any\ncost associated with the rental of such space for the public hearing.\n(i) The parties are encouraged to confer prior to the prehearing conference to\ndevelop a schedule for the filing of testimony and the dates for the formal\nevidentiary hearing.","truncated":false,"body_characters":1819}
