As a result of the inspection, PEI was issued a Notice of Amendment on July\n17, 2012.\nWe received your follow-up letter dated September 17, 2012 along with attachments in response to the\nNotice of Amendment.\nAs you are aware, Pennsylvania Legislature recently passed a law that expanded the Pennsylvania Public\nUtility Commission authority to inspect and enforce intrastate transmission pipelines such as this pipeline.\nThe Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission has now assumed the responsibility for inspection and\nenforcement of your pipeline system.\nAccordingly, no further action is necessary in connection with this case. This case is now closed.\nSincerely,\nByron Coy, PE\nDirector, Eastern Region\nPipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration\ncc: Paul Metro, Program Manager/ Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission","truncated":false,"body_characters":2387}
