Dear Mr. Meissner:
From August 9 to August 11, 2011, a representative of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials
Safety Administration (PHMSA), Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS), pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49
United States Code inspected Granite State Gas Transmission, Inc.’s (Granite State) Public
Awareness Program in Hampton, New Hampshire. As a result of the inspection, Granite State
was issued a Notice of Amendment (NOA) on November 13, 2013.
On February 11, 2014, Granite State submitted a response to the NOA along with amended
procedures. My staff reviewed the amended procedures, and it appears that the inadequacies set
forth in the NOA have been corrected.
This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you
for your cooperation.
