Dear Mr. Jacobi:
On May 22-24, 2012, a representative of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety
Administration (PHMSA), Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS), pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49
United States Code inspected the Delaware Pipeline Company, LLC (Delaware Pipeline) Public
Awareness Program in Delaware City, Delaware. As a result of the inspection, Delaware
Pipeline was issued a Notice of Amendment (NOA) on November 26, 2013.
On February 21, 2014, Delaware Pipeline submitted a response to the NOA along with amended
procedures. My staff reviewed the amended procedures, and it appears that the inadequacies set
forth in the NOA have been corrected.
This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you
for your cooperation.
