Dear Mr. Neave:
On May 31, 2013, a representative of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety
Administration, Office of Pipeline Safety, pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49 United States Code
investigated an incident that occurred at the Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Company, LLC’s
(TRANSCO), Neshanic Station 505 facility, located in located in Neshanic Station, New Jersey.
As a result of the investigation, TRANSCO was issued a Notice of Amendment (NOA) on
March 6, 2014, which proposed amendment of its procedures. On May 2, 2014, TRANSCO
submitted a response to the NOA along with amended procedures. My staff reviewed the
amended procedures, and it appears that the inadequacies outlined in this NOA have been
corrected.
This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you
for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Byron E. Coy, PE
