Dear Mr. Neave:
From June 2 through October 24, 2013, representatives from Pipeline and Hazardous Materials
Safety Administration, Office of Pipeline Safety and an interstate agent from New York State
Department of Public Service, pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49 United States Code, conducted an
on-site pipeline safety inspection of Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company, LLC’s (Transco)
procedures. As a result of the inspection, Transco was issued a Notice of Amendment on
October 2, 2014, which proposed amendment of its procedures.
Transco submitted its amended procedures on November 12, 2014. My staff reviewed the
amended procedures and it appears that the inadequacies outlined in the Notice of Amendment
have been corrected.
This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you
for your cooperation.
