Dear Mr. Grey:
Between May 7 and October 22, 2014, inspectors from the Virginia State Corporation Commission (VA
SCC) acting as Agent for the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) pursuant
to Chapter 601 of 49 United States Code inspected the City of Danville’s (City) Distribution Integrity
Management Program (DIMP) procedures in Danville, Virginia.
As a result of the inspection, the City was issued a Notice of Amendment (NOA) on February 23, 2015,
which proposed amendment of your procedures.
The City responded to the NOA on March 24, 2015, and submitted amended procedures on April 24,
2015.
My staff reviewed the amended procedures, and it appears that the inadequacies outlined in this NOA
have been corrected.
This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you for your
cooperation.
