Dear Mr. Karry:
On August 7-10, 2006, representatives from the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety
Administration (PHMSA) and the Minnesota Office of Pipeline Safety, pursuant to chapter
601 of 49 United States Code, conducted an on-site pipeline safety inspection of the Centra
Pipelines Minnesota (EFG) integrity management procedures in Baudette, Minnesota. As a
result of the inspection, EFG was issued a Notice of Amendment on November 22, 2006,
which proposed amendment of your procedures.
Your current integrity management program, including the procedures which were amended
as a result of the 2006 inspection, was reviewed April 5-9, 2010 as part of a scheduled
integrity management inspection, and it appears that the inadequacies outlined in the Notice of
Amendment have been corrected.
This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank
you for your cooperation.
