Hatchett\nWest Texas Gas, Inc\n7517 Canyon Drive,\nAmarillo, TX 79110\nCPF 4-2007-1002\nDear Mr. Hatchett:\nOn September 18 – 22, 2006, representatives of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety\nAdministration (PHMSA) pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49 United States Code inspected West\nTexas Gas, Inc.’s (WTG) procedures for Integrity Management in Amarillo, Texas.\nAs a result of the inspection, PHMSA issued to WTG a Notice of Probable Violation, Proposed\nCivil Penalty and Proposed Compliance Order. A Final Order was issued on October 28, 2008.\nWTG responded by letter dated January 5, 2009, and indicated that the requirements of the\nFinal Order and the Compliance Order had been met.\nOn June 21 and 22, 2010 representatives of PHMSA inspected West Texas Gas, Inc.’s (WTG)\nprocedures for Integrity Management in Amarillo, Texas to verify that the requirements of the\nFinal Order and the Compliance Order had been met. Based on that review, it appears as\nthough the requirements have been met and therefore this case is now closed.\nAlso be advised that PHMSA noticed inadequacies in the IM procedures and intends to address\nthose inadequacies with WTG through a separate Notice of Amendment.
