Dear Mr. Ketelsleger:
On multiple dates in April, May, August, September, and October, 2012, a representative of the
Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) pursuant to Chapter 601 of
49 United States Code inspected Chaparral Energy LLC procedures for operation of a C02
pipeline in Oklahoma City OK. As a result of the inspection, Chaparral was issued a Notice of
Amendment on October 31, 2013.
Chaparral submitted the requested procedural modifications on December 3, 2013. My staff
reviewed the amended procedures, and requested additional changes on February 13, 2014. The
additional changes were received in our office on February 19, 2014. My staff reviewed the
amended procedures, and it appears that the inadequacies outlined in this Notice of Amendment
have been corrected.
This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you
for your cooperation.
