Dear Mr. Catt:
From June 24-26, 2014, representatives of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety
Administration (PHMSA) pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49 United States Code inspected the
Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America (NGPL) Control Management Program and facilities
in Houston, TX and surrounding area. As a result of the inspection, NGPL was issued a Notice
of Amendment on December 3, 2014, which proposed amendment of your procedures.
NGPL submitted the requested procedural modification on January 2, 2015. The submittal was
received in my office on January 7, 2015. My staff reviewed the amended procedure, and the
inadequacies outlined in this Notice of Amendment have been corrected.
This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you
for your cooperation.
