Dear Ms. Tyrone:
From May 5 - 8, 2014, representatives of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety
Administration (PHMSA) pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49 United States Code inspected the
ExxonMobil Pipeline Company (EMPCo) Control Management Program and facilities in
Pasadena, TX and surrounding area. As a result of the inspection, EMPCo was issued a Notice
of Amendment on September 9, 2014, which proposed amendment of your procedures.
EMPCo submitted the requested procedural modification on October 17, 2014. The submittal
was received in my office on October 24, 2014. My staff reviewed the amended procedure, and
the inadequacies outlined in this Notice of Amendment have been corrected.
This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you
for your cooperation.
