Please provide a narrative detailing how planning and training goals and objectives for the HMEP grant were achieved during\nthis performance period.\nCalisota was successful in meeting many planning and training goals and objectives for year one of the performance period.\nWe were able to complete phase one of the state wide commodity flow study. We completed 10 of the counties and\nanticipate completing 10 more in year 2 of the performance period. We also trained approximately 45 emergency responders\nto hazmat technician level.\n2. Please provide a narrative detailing how the State/Tribe/Territory, through the activities conducted using of HMEP funds, is\nbetter able to handle accidents and incidents involving the transport of hazardous materials.\nBy increasing the number of emergency responders that have the technician level training Calisota has increased the number\nof emergency responders that can effectively and efficiently respond to hazmat incidents safely.\n3.
