Cause detail: ON JANUARY 19, 2025, AT APPROXIMATELY 8:40AM CST THE 16-03-121-01-16", A TYPE R PIPELINE, EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. RELEASE VOLUME DETERMINED TO EXCEED REPORTING THRESHOLD AND NRC NOTIFICATION MADE ACCORDINGLY. PIPE SAMPLES HAVE BEEN SENT TO A LABORATORY FOR ANALYSIS TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE. UPDATE - 5/16/2025 - NEW INFORMATION FOLLOWING THE INCIDENT A PIPE SAMPLE WAS SENT FOR LAB ANALYSIS; THE LAB ANALYSIS INDICATED THE PIPE IS 25,000 SMYS. RECORDS WERE UPDATED ACCORDINGLY, AND THE LINE HAS BEEN RECLASSIFIED AS TYPE C BASED ON OPERATING AT GREATER THAN 20 PERCENT OF SMYS.
