WEST SALEM BRANCH LINE PIPE FOUND EXPOSED IN RIVER BOTTOM. THE LEAK WAS FROM A CIRCUMFERENTIAL CRACK THAT APPEARS TO HAVE STARTED TO CREASE IN THE PIPE MADE DURING ORIGINAL INSTALLATION IN 1963.
