Cause detail: INTERNAL CORROSION

Cause detail: ON 1/31/2023 AT APPROXIMATELY 13:00, COMPANY PERSONNEL NOTICED OIL ON THE GROUND WHILE PATROLLING LINE DURING RESTART ACTIVITIES FROM PREVIOUS ACCIDENT ON 1/30/23. THE CONTROL CENTER WAS CALLED TO SHUTDOWN THE SYSTEM AND OPERATIONS ISOLATED THE LINE SEGMENT. OPERATIONS VERIFIED THE LEAK WAS COMING FROM THE MARIO/LUIGI V-1D 6-INCH PIPELINE. AN ESTIMATED 10 BARRELS OF CRUDE OIL WAS RELEASED. CLEANUP CONTRACTORS WERE MOBILIZED TO THE LEAK SITE AND CONTAMINATED SOIL WAS EXCAVATED. WAITING ON SAMPLING PROFILE BEFORE SENDING OFF FOR DISPOSAL. CAUSE WAS DETERMINED TO BE INTERNAL CORROSION BY VISUAL ANALYSIS. A PLIDCO CLAMP WAS INSTALLED. THE LINE WAS RESTARTED TO PERFORM AN ILI ASSESSMENT THEN SHUTDOWN AFTER ASSESSMENT. LINE WILL REMAIN SHUTDOWN UNTIL TOOL RUN RESULTS ARE RETURNED.
