DCP FIELD OPERATIONS INVESTIGATED AND FOUND A RUPTURE ON THE L-1 LINE. THE L-1 IS A TYPE R GATHERING LINE. UPON LOSS AND UNACCOUNTABLE RECORDS REVIEW IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE GAS/LOSS IN THE SYSTEMS HAD STARTED ON 12/14/2023 AT APPROXIMATELY 1:00 PM. GAS/LOSS WAS CALCULATED ON 12/18/2023 AT 10:16 AND DEEMED REPORTABLE. NOTIFICATIONS WERE MADE PROMPTLY AFTERWARDS. REPAIRS WERE COMPLETED ON 12/28/2023. PIPELINE WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE ON 04/01/2024. FAILURE CAUSED BY PRESSURE ABOVE NORMAL OPERATING PARAMETERS DUE TO A RECENT SYSTEM TIE-INS WITH INADEQUATE OVERPRESSURE PROTECTION. A TRAINING ON VALVE PLACEMENT AND OVERPRESSURE DEVICE INSTALLATION WAS CONDUCTED AND PRESSURE LIMITING DEVICES WERE INSTALLED AT ALL WELL LOCATIONS IN THE SYSTEM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PRESSURE OVER NORMAL LIMITATIONS.","truncated":false,"body_characters":1472}
