THE CAUSE OF THE RELEASE IS ATTRIBUTED TO INTERNAL CORROSION. TO PREVENT FUTURE RELEASES, PLAINS PLACED A CLAMP AND HYDROTESTED THE PIPELINE. PLAINS IS FURTHER INVESTIGATING THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE TIME THE RELEASE COULD HAVE STARTED (PART A Q4), AS WELL AS COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE INCIDENT.
