LEAK WITH SPRAY AND MINIMAL VOLUMES OVER ROW CONFIRMED AT 16:34 ON 5/14/2024. COMPANY SHUT-IN PS 10, 9, 8, & 11 AND CLOSED IN VALVES NORTH AND SOUTH OF LEAK. EXCAVATION CREW ARRIVED MORNING OF 5/15/2024 AND EXPOSED PIPE AND CLAMPED PINHOLE. REPLACEMENT PIPE ARRIVED ON 5/16/2024. BAD PIPE REMOVED, REPLACEMENT PIPE TESTED, WELDED INTO PLACE, AND X-RAYED IN PLACE WITH NO DEFECTS. PIPELINE RETURNED TO OPERATION ON 5/17/2024. HAULED OFF CONTAMINATED SOIL. TESTED EXCAVATION ON 6/5/2024. WILL BACKFILL EXCAVATION WHEN LAB RESULTS DICTATE TPH LEVELS ARE ACCEPTABLE. INTERNAL CORROSION DETERMINED TO BE DUE TO LOW-SIDE FLUID-SETTLING THAT OCCURRED IN THE PIPE WHEN THE LINE HAD MUCH LOWER FLOWRATES GOING THROUGH IT AT A PREVIOUS POINT IN TIME.","truncated":false,"body_characters":1417}
