UPON INVESTIGATION IT WAS DETERMINED THAT INTERNAL CORROSION HAD CAUSED THE PINHOLE, WHICH WAS CUT OUT AND REPAIRED, QUICKLY RETURNING THE LINE TO SERVICE ON 8/6/2024. THE LEAK WAS ORIGINALLY ESTIMATED AS 3BBLS, BUT OVER THE FOLLOWING MONTHS, ENVIRONMENTAL DELINEATION UNCOVERED A GREATER DEGREE OF SOIL CONTAMINATION, WITH A FINAL ESTIMATE OF THE SPILL TO BE APPROXIMATELY 3,467BBLS. A NOTIFICATION TO THE NRC AND RRC WERE MADE ON 11/1/2025, REPORTING AND UPDATING THIS INCIDENT.","truncated":false,"body_characters":1181}
