Records may be supplemented or corrected and do not represent final agency causal findings.\n\nReport number: 20230049.\n\nOperator ID: 39649.\n\nReported incident date: 5/10/2023 7:00.\n\nCause detail: OTHER INCORRECT OPERATION\n\nCause detail: ON MAY 10, 2023, AT APPROXIMATELY 7:00 AM, A THIRD-PARTY PRODUCER WAS PROVING THEIR TRUCK OFFLOAD LACT, THIS LACT IS FED BY THE SAME PIPING MANIFOLD AS IRONWOOD'S LACT CAUSING A LACK OF CRUDE AVAILABLE FOR IRONWOOD'S LACT AND ULTIMATELY CAUSED A SEAL FAILURE ON IRONWOOD'S PUMP. IRONWOOD OPERATIONS ARRIVED AND THE PUMP WAS SHUT DOWN STOPPING THE LEAK AT APPROXIMATELY 7:30 AM. THE ESTIMATED RELEASE VOLUME IS 9.66 GALLONS, .23 BARREL, THE SPILL WAS CLEANED UP PROMPTLY THE SAME DAY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES, EVACUATIONS, OR FIRE AS A RESULT OF THE RELEASE. TO PREVENT RE-OCCURRENCE, IRONWOOD LACTS WILL NOT BE OPERATED WHILE A THIRD-PARTY OPERATOR IS PROVING FROM THE SAME PIPING MANIFOLD. CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR WILL VERIFY THE PROVING HAS BEEN COMPLETE PRIOR TO STARTING THE LACT.","truncated":false,"body_characters":1358}
