IT IS SUSPECTED THAT THE ACTUATOR CAUSED THE 8\" DISCHARGE VENT VALVE TO OPEN DUE TO A LEAK AROUND THE SEAT / STEM AREA. NATURAL GAS VENTED FOR 1.5 HOURS. DTI GAS CONTROL WAS ABLE TO ISOLATE GAS VENTING VIA SCADA. APPROXIMATLEY 70 PEOPLE WERE EVACUATED BY THE LOCAL EMA DUE TO SMELL OF NATURAL GAS.
