Cause detail: ON JULY 5TH, 2023, CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED A POTENTIAL RELEASE AND NOTIFIED CRIMSON CONTROL CENTER. CONTROL CENTER HAD NO INDICATION FROM LEAK DETECTION OF ANY ABNORMAL ACTIVITY ON OUT PIPELINE. OPERATIONS WAS DISPATCHED TO THE LOCATION, UPON ARRIVAL OPERATIONS LOCATED AN OUT OF SERVICE PIPELINE C6-2 WITH EVIDENCE OF A RELEASE OF CRUDE OIL ON THE GROUND. ESTIMATED .5 BBL. QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL FOR CRIMSON NOTIFIED OES AND NRC AND DISPATCHED CRIMSON OSRO'S. AT THE TIME THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF AN ACTIVE RELEASE. CRUDE OIL VISIBLE WAS NOT INCREASING.
