FIELD OPERATIONS PERSONNEL CONFIRMED GAS VENTING TO ATMOSPHERE ON LINE 800-000. THE PIPELINE IS IN A LOW WET AREA THAT HAS PREVENTED CLOSE EXAMINATION OF THE FAILURE BEYOND A SINGLE PHOTOGRAPH OF THE PIPE BEFORE BEING COVERED BY GROUND WATER. LINE 800-000 WILL REMAIN OUT OF SERVICE UNTIL A REPAIR METHOD HAS BEEN DETERMINED. LINE 801-000 WILL REMAIN IN SERVICE. SUPPLEMENTAL - THE FAILURE SITE BECAME ACCESSIBLE AND THE PIPELINE WAS REPAIRED BY INSTALLING A CYLINDER OF TESTED PIPE.
