PIPELINE CONTROL FOLLOWED ESTABLISHED PROCEDURES TO EVALUATE THE CONTROLLER RESPONSE; THE CONTROLLER WAS RE-TRAINED AND RE-QUALIFIED TO PREVENT REOCCURRENCE. THE RELIEF VALVE FUNCTIONED PROPERLY OF WHICH RESULTED IN THE INTENTIONAL RELEASE TO THE ATMOSPHERE.
