ACCORDING TO THE RECENTLY RECEIVED BAKERRISK REPORT, THE CAUSE OF THE INCIDENT IS AS FOLLOWS: A) THE MOST PROBABLE SCENARIO SUGGESTS THE INITIAL FIRE RESULTED FROM A GAS RELEASE WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START THE NO. 2 TURBINE/COMPRESSOR SET. B) THE NO. 2 COMPRESSOR OUTBOARD CASE DRAIN WAS LEFT OPEN DURING STARTUP AND EVENTUAL LOADING OF THE COMPRESSOR.
