Cause detail: ON 2/7/2024, AT APPROXIMATELY 15:51, THE LAND TENANT CONTACTED OUR LOCAL LAND AGENT TO REPORT THAT HIS HERD OF BULLS HAD ACCESSED A VALVE SET IN HIS PASTURE, AND CRUDE OIL WAS SPRAYING FROM THE VALVE WAS POOLING ON THE GROUND. FIELD PERSONNEL ARRIVED ON THE SCENE AT 18:30 ON 2/7/20204 AND ISOLATED THE 1/2 VALVE AND NIPPLE THAT WAS MISTING CRUDE. THE INVESTIGATION FOUND THAT THE LIVESTOCK HAD BEEN RUBBING ON A 1/2" VALVE AND CRACKED THE NIPPLE BELOW IT. OSRO ARRIVED ON SCENE AT 21:51 ON 2/7/2024 WITH A VAC TRUCK TO REMOVE THE POOLED CRUDE. CONTAMINATED SOIL WAS REMOVED, AND THE GROUND WAS SPRAYED WITH MICRO BLAZE. MPLX HAS CORRECTED THE VALVE SET AND IS REINFORCING THE FENCE TO PREVENT FUTURE ISSUES.
