GULF SOUTH EMPLOYEES INVESTIGATED AND DETERMINED THAT THERE WAS A LEAK ON THE SYSTEM AND ISOLATED THE PIPELINE SEGMENT BY CLOSING BLOCK VALVES ON EACH SIDE OF THE INCIDENT LOCATION AND BLEW THE PIPELINE DOWN TO ZERO. A DETERMINATION WAS MADE TO INSTALL A NEW CROSSING DUE TO THE LEAK LOCATION WITHIN A DITCH EMBANKMENT. THE PIPELINE SECTION WITH THE LEAK WAS ABANDONED IN PLACE.
