Cause detail: OTHER OUTSIDE FORCE DAMAGE

Cause detail: ON 8-3-12 GAS CONTROL RECEIVED INFORMATION THAT A SINK HOLE HAD FORMED NEAR CROSSTEX'S 36" PIPELINE AT BAYOU CORNE. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE SINK HOLE WAS 150 FT FROM CROSSTEX'S FACILITY. AT THIS TIME THE SINK HOLE WAS MONITORED AND NO CHANGES TO THE CROSSTEX FACILITY WERE MADE AND NO ABNORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS WERE NOTICED. OPERATIONS CONTINUED NORMALLY. ON 8-4-12 CROSSTEX WAS NOTIFIED THAT THE SINK HOLE HAD EXPANDED IN THE DIRECTION OF THE CROSSTEX FACILITY AND AT 3:56PM DECISION WAS MADE TO BLOW DOWN THE FACILITY. ON 8-5-12 LINE PRESSURE WAS DOWN TO ZERO AND THE LINE DECLARED OUT OF SERVICE. THE CROSSTEX FACILITY REMAINS OUT OF SERVICE UNTIL ASSESSMENT OF THIRD PARTY STORAGE CAVERN IS COMPLETE. CROSSTEX BUILT A 5 MILE LOOP AROUND THE SINK HOLE AREA AND ON MAY 21, 2014 AT 22:00 HRS THE PIPELINE WAS PLACED BACK INTO SERVICE. THE ORIGINAL SECTION OF LINE WAS ABANDONED IN PLACE.
