A THIRD PARTY NOTIFIED THE CONTROL CENTER, AND THE CONTROL CENTER NOTIFIED OPERATIONS ABOUT A POSSIBLE FIRE AROUND THE FM 176 AREA. 20:28, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT COMPRESSOR UNIT #2 AT THE MIMS COMPRESSOR STATION WAS ON FIRE, OPERATIONS ESD�D THE STATION AND BLOCKED THE UNIT IN. 0900 THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED ON SCENE. IT WAS DETERMINED AT THAT TIME THE REPAIRS AND DAMAGES WOULD EXCEED THE $149,700.00 REPORTABLE DOLLAR CRITERIA AND THE NRC AND THE TXRRC WERE NOTIFIED. THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THIS IS A LEASED COMPRESSOR FROM A 3RD PARTY. THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION.
