Cause detail: ON AUGUST 16, 2013, CONTRACTED DIVERS PERFORMING WORK IN THE VICINITY OF A CHECK VALVE IN TENNESSEE GAS PIPELINE (TGP) COMPANY'S 26" 507K-100 PIPELINE (ON THE OCS) INADVERTANTLY STRUCK A 1/2 INCH POWER GAS SUPPLY VALVE. THE 1/2 INCH VALVE BROKE OFF THE CHECK VALVE, RELEASING NATURAL GAS AT A WATER DEPTH OF ABOUT 50 FEET. THE LEAK WAS ISOLATED AND REPAIRS WERE MADE WITH THE PIPELINE BEING PLACED BACK INTO SERVICE AUGUST 28, 2013.
