Your letter has also been\nforwarded to the Office of the Associate Administrator for Pipeline Safety since certain of the sections\ncited for update, 49 CFR 192.281(e) and 192.283(b), are addressed in the Pipeline Safety Regulations\n(49 CFR Parts 186-199).\nThe Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) are found in Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Parts\n100-185 (revised as of October 1, 1999), which include the Hazardous Materials Table (§ 172.101\nHMT), special provisions, hazard communication, emergency response information and training, and\npackaging requirements for hazardous materials, such as explosives. The HMR are revised and\npublished annually.
