No. 00-0195\nPO Box 250\nAGWORKS, Inc.\nPreston, IA 52069-0250\nDear Ms. Garcia:\nThis is in response to your letter of July 7, 2000, reguesting\nclarification on placarding requirements under the Hazardous\nMaterials Regulations (HMR; 49 CFR Parts 171-180).\nSpecifically, you ask if the weight of bulk containers loaded\nbe included when determining the total weight of Table 2\non the same transport vehicle with non-bulk containers need to\nmaterials on the vehicle under $ 172.504 (c).\nThe answer is no. In our interpretation of the regulation, we are taking into account the weight\nof the bulk container.
