Specifically, you ask whether\nthe concentration of sulfuric acid is based on weight/weight, volume/volume, or weight/volume.\nThe percentages of the sulfuric acid entries in the hazardous materials table are based on the weight of\nthe solute to the weight of the solvent.\nI hope this answers your inquiry. If we can be of further assistance, please contact us\nSincerely,\nHill\nDelmer te. The regulations do not address this. I was transferred to Mr. George\nCushmac who was very helpful and confirmed that the regs do not address this issue but\nthrough his checking, he believes the percentage to be based on a weight-to-weight ratio\n(weight of solvent to weight of solute). He also suggested that 1 write you to request\nconfirmation in writing from you in this matter.\nI now ask that you please provide written confirmation of Mr. Cushmac's statement that\nsolution percentages in the Hazardous Materials Table are based on a weight to weight\nratio.\nThank you for your time and I will be expecting a prompt response.\nSincerely,\nMade Victims\nMark Villarino\nHazard Communication Specialist\nSO SDRE\nSpectrum Quality Products, Inc.\nS\nCorporate Headquarters:\nHast Coust Piant\n14422 South San Pedro Street\n755 Jerscy Avenue\nGardena, California 90248\nNew Brunsivick, Vew Jersey 08901\n(310) 516-8000 - Fax: (310) 516-9843\n732) 214-1300 • Fax: (732) 220-6553","truncated":false,"body_characters":2365}
