Re.: Withdrawal of Interpretation Letter PI-23-0014
Dear Mr. Murchison:
On June 10, 2024, PHMSA responded to your request for an interpretation of the Federal
pipeline safety regulations relating to the applicability of 49 CFR Part 195 to certain facilities in
the Green Bay area owned and operated by U.S. Venture, Inc. This letter is to inform you that
PHMSA has withdrawn that response to further consider the matter. PHMSA will provide
further information upon completion of its review. Until the review is complete, PHMSA does
not intend to conduct Part 195 compliance inspections of the facilities in question.
