Dear Mr. Blain:
This is in reply to your letter of February 24, 1971, requesting
modification of 49 CFR, Section 191.5(a) to eliminate the
requirement of telephonic reporting of leaks which resulted in
the ignition of gas with no injury or property damage.
We will consider your letter as a request for new rule-making
along with other requests now pending.
