In reply to your letter of March 20, 1971, referred to this Office by the Pittsburgh Office of the
Interstate Commerce Commission, enclosed is a copy of 49 CFR, Part 192, as amended,
Minimum Federal Safety Standards for Transportation of Natural and Other Gas by Pipeline. This
publication contains the Federal requirements for testing of natural gas pipelines.
We are also enclosing a copy of 49 CFR, Part 195, Minimum Federal Standards for
Transportation of Liquids by Pipeline, which may also be of interest to you.
