We may be miss\ninformed of the existence of this type of registration approval by your organization. Engineering & Construction Co., Inc. is engaged in various cost studies, Reasearch [sic]\nand Development programs. One of our major services is our Corrosion Control Department\nwhich directs its attention to Cathodic Protection problems in the oil & gas industry (i. e,.\noffshore platforms, gathering systems, onshore pipelines, and process plants:. We are cognizant\nof the Department of Transportation regulations for the transportation of natural gas and other\ngas by pipeline. In fact, we wrote your office on May 25, 1975, to be sure we were in receipt of\nthe most recent amendments to the pipeline safety regulations. We do appreciate your prompt\nreply.\nWe also conduct surveys for metropolitan areas, port authority dock facilities, etc. As a matter of\nfact, we have just completed an electrical survey for the City of Pascagoula with\nrecommendations for anode installations to protect the city's natural gas system. We started a\nsurvey for Cathodic Protection for the City of Moss Point, Ms. on 5/27/75 wherein we will also\ndesign the protection system. The writer has been a Corrosion Engineer since 1953 at which time\nhe was Division Corrosion Engineer for Tennessee Gas Co. He is a member of the National\nAssociation of Corrosion Engineers.\nWe have been incorporated in the State of Mississippi since the early part of 1974 for the\npurposes of Cathodic Protection, Corrosion Control, surveys, designs and installation. Our\nPresident would be pleased to send your office examples of our engineering ability and samples of\nwork performed. We respectfully request our name be placed on your approved Cathodic\nProtection and Corrosion Control list for your department.
