The depth of cover issues identified and reported on NRC report #1348085 have become part of a larger scale project lowering multiple Harvest Gulf of Mexico pipelines. They are now being worked simultaneously with the pipelines reported with NRC reports #1366652/#136658. It is Harvest’s intention to remediate the areas of concern as soon as permits have been acquired and reburial contracts secured. NRC reports #1366652/#1366658 can be referenced for more details associated with the current project. Harvest submitted a joint permit application (JPA) to the US Army Corps and Office of Coastal Management July 21, 2023, to request authorization to lower the pipelines. This permit is expected to take 6-9 months for approval. Harvest is periodically performing inspections to ensure that the line markers remain visible until the work is completed and depth of cover is restored.","truncated":false,"body_characters":1348}
