Inspections.

The commission shall examine the construction, maintenance, and condition of pipelines, underground storage facilities, and equipment used in connection with pipelines and facilities in the state of Iowa to determine whether they comply with the appropriate standards of pipeline safety. One or more members of the commission, or one or more duly appointed representatives of the commission, may enter upon the premises of any pipeline company within the state of Iowa for the purpose of making the inspections.#
