THE NTSB RECOMMENDS THAT THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA: THROUGH THE STATE'S DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND THE GEORGIA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION ENCOURAGE AND ASSIST THE OPERATORS OF UNDERGROUND FACILITIES IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA IN THEIR EFFORTS TO EXPAND THE METROPOLITAN ATLANTA AREA ONE-CALL NOTIFICATION SYSTEM TO PROVIDE COVERAGE THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF GEORGIA.
