One NSTAR Way, NE 300 Westwood MA, 02090 CPF 1-2011-3003M Dear Mr. Schweiger: During the week of October 4, 2010, representatives from the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), pursuant to chapter 601 of 49 United States Code, conducted an on-site pipeline safety inspection of Hopkinton LNG Corporation’s (Hopkinton LNG) procedures in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. As a result of the inspection, Hopkinton LNG was issued a Notice of Amendment on December 13, 2011, which proposed amendment of your procedures. Hopkinton LNG submitted its amended procedures in letters, dated January 23, 2012, February 10, 2012, and April 24, 2012. My staff has reviewed the amended procedures, and it appears that the inadequacies outlined in this Notice of Amendment have been corrected. This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you for your cooperation. Sincerely, Byron Coy, PE Director, Eastern Region Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration#
