Patterson President Engineering & Project Development Columbia Gas Transmission Corp. 1700 MacCorkle Avenue, SE Charleston, WV 25314 CPF 1-2013-1036M Dear Mr. Patterson: Between July 23-31, 2012, inspectors from the New York State Department of Public Service (NYSDPS), acting as agents for the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49 United States Code inspected the Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation (CGT) Millennium Pipeline facilities procedures for field related operations and maintenance procedures at the Owego M&R facility in Owego, Tioga County, NY. As a result of the inspection, CGT was issued a Notice of Amendment on December 23, 2013, which proposed amendment of your procedures. CGT requested a 30 day extension to respond to the Notice in an e-mail dated January 9, 2014. In letter dated January 10, 2014, PHMSA Eastern Region granted CGT an extension to submit its amended procedures by February 24, 2014. CGT submitted its amended procedures in letter dated February 21, 2014. My staff reviewed the amended procedures, and it appears that the inadequacies outlined in this Notice of Amendment have been corrected. This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you for your cooperation.
