Pickering Senior Vice President, Manufacturing Sunoco, Inc., Refining & Marketing 100 Green Street Marcus Hook, PA 19061 CPF 1-2013-5025M Dear Mr. Pickering: On October 28, 2013, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) issued Sunoco, Inc., Refining and Marketing (Sunoco, Inc. R&M) a Notice of Amendment (Notice) in the above-referenced case. The Notice described an apparent inadequacy within Sunoco, Inc. R&M’s integrity management plan and proposed amendment to the said plan. Subsequently, we received a letter dated November 26, 2013 from Terry A. Soule, Director, Environment Services and Policy at Sunoco, Inc. R&M. In his letter, Mr. Soule stated that Sunoco, Inc. R&M sold its assets to Philadelphia Energy Solutions and Sunoco Pipeline, L.P. in September 2012 and April 2013, respectively. Mr. Soule also stated that as the result of the sale of its assets it no longer has pipelines that are covered in an integrity management program. Therefore, PHMSA hereby withdraws the Notice. Please be informed no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Sincerely, Byron Coy, PE Director, Eastern Region Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration#
