120150001M_Closure Letter_03012016_text.pdf, page 1Official PDFOVERNIGHT EXPRESS DELIVERY March 01, 2016 Mr. Robert Steidel Director, City of Richmond Department of Public Utilities 730 East Broad Street Richmond, VA 23219 CPF 1-2015-0001M Dear Mr. Steidel: Between April 9 and October 9, 2014, inspectors from the Virginia State Corporation Commission (VA SCC) acting as Agent for the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS), pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49 United States Code, inspected the City of Richmond’s (City) Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP) procedures in Richmond, Virginia. As a result of the inspection, the City was issued a Notice of Amendment (NOA) on February 12, 2015, which proposed amendment of its procedures. The City submitted its amended procedures on June 2, 2015, September 30, 2015, and again on December 21, 2015. My staff reviewed the amended procedures, and it appears that the inadequacies outlined in this Notice of Amendment have been corrected. This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary, and this case is now closed. Thank you for your cooperation.
